I’ve been playing small.
I know, I know, I know. I’ve been spending a lot of time lately teaching others how to play big. But the truth is there are some areas of my life where I’ve not yet implemented my own teachings.
I’ve found, however, as a coach, that many of the lessons I teach others are also lessons for my own life.
Here’s the deal: I’ve been holding on to a HUGE business idea for a few months now and I haven’t released it because I’ve been afraid to. I’ve let Imposter Syndrome rear it’s big ugly head once again. I’ve questioned my credibility, my impact, my voice. I compared myself to others, wondering how I’d compete with them in the market. I feared the rejections and the no’s I may receive.
And then something happened yesterday. Someone – a stranger – reached out to me and asked me about my coaching services. She’d been following me on social media and really connected with what I’d been teaching. She wanted to grow her business and her brand, but she wasn’t sure just how to do it. She inspired me, because she TOOK THE FIRST STEP.
She reached out to me. She pushed past her fear, her concerns, her worries, and she sent me a message.
So, I’m taking her example – my new client’s example – and I’m taking the first step, letting all of you know that I’m in the process of releasing an online coaching program. Yup, I’m pushing past my fear, worries, and imposter syndrome to tell you this.
I’m going to take all of my learning and experience over the past 20 years and I’m going to teach ambitious women how to show up big, how to push past fear, and how to get RESULTS.
Even when they question their credibility. Even when they wonder if their impact will make a difference. Even when they’ve not used their voice the way they should.
Because someone out there is waiting for their voice. Someone out there is waiting for them to show up big. Someone out there is waiting for them
